The classic spaetzle press supports you in the quick preparation of handmade spaetzle and mashed potatoes. By simply squeezing the lever arms together, you create even, dimensionally stable spaetzle. Ease of use is aided by the fact that the lower handle is specially flattened to be placed on the edges of pots or bowls. The three support catches provide flexibility for a firm hold on containers of different sizes.
Different press forms
With the Westmark presses, there are two press shapes: round or irregular. The mold cannot be removed from the press (no disk, all in one piece). This type of design gives the press even more stability and makes it easier to work with the press.
Round Shape
Suitable for spaetzle, mashed potatoes and spaghetti ice cream. Makes long round spaetzle. The hole diameter of the press is approx. 3 mm (0.118"). The press with the round holes is also suitable for preparing spaghetti ice cream. In order for the spaghetti ice cream to work best, please put the spaetzle press in the freezer a few hours before preparation. The ice cream should be slightly thawed before pressing.
Irregular Shape
Suitable for spaetzle and potatoes (not for spaghetti ice cream!). The special spaetzle look - similar to hand-scraped spaetzle from a board - is created with the help of the elongated perforation (slot length: approx. 7 mm / 0.276").
